The Fastest 999 Nights Farming Method

A farming technique discovered by the community allows players to clear entire 999 Nights maps without manually attacking, generating 3,000–4,000 Mystery Buttons per minute. This is significantly faster than standard combat farming and is the current meta for Button Shop grinding.

Note: This method requires reaching approximately Level 55 in 999 Nights mode before it becomes efficient. Below that threshold, gear drops are too inconsistent to sustain the build.

How It Works

The method relies on AoE passive damage that triggers automatically, clearing large groups of enemies while you focus on positioning and map traversal rather than active combat.

Core Mechanic

When you position correctly at the start of a 999 Nights area, enemies load into the zone. By using a Refresh ability or repositioning, enemies continue to respawn and load, allowing continuous passive AoE clearing without needing to manually engage each group.

Key tip: Teleport far back at the beginning of the area, then run toward the farming zone so enemies fully load. After using Refresh, they continue to load and can be cleared repeatedly.

If you have Iroi, stacking 1,000+ Flame stacks via her kit causes DoT crits exceeding 1 billion damage, which clears entire screens passively. This requires no Key accessories to function — making it accessible even without full gear.

Gear Requirements

You do not need a complete gear set to start farming. The method works with partial sets, and the guide referenced by the community uses a setup missing the 4 Key accessories. As you progress and gear improves, efficiency scales up.

Priority gear:

Focus on Set Bonuses first — activating even partial sets dramatically increases AoE output
Key accessories are a bonus, not a requirement to start
Potions and Buffs from the 999 Nights buff system should always be active

Reaching Level 55 in 999 Nights unlocks Nightmare Mode, which provides:
