Vehicle Buying Guide
For Racers
If competitive racing is your priority, follow this upgrade path: ST79 (600K) → Griffin (1.5M) → Pursuit V8 (4M) → Pendragon (12M). Skip everything below the ST79 — it's not worth investing in cars you'll immediately replace.
For Explorers
If you mainly explore the open world, invest in the Blizzard-V4 motorcycle (2.45M). Its summon-anywhere ability and fast acceleration make it the most time-efficient vehicle for daily commissions and collectible hunting.
For F2P Players
Use the free Rover A1 until you can afford the ST79 (600K). Then save directly for the Pursuit V8 (4M) — skip the Griffin tier entirely. Also grind Pink Paw Heist for the free Tomorrow Rush.
Best Value Overall
The Pursuit V8 at 4M Fons offers the best performance-per-Fon ratio. It's competitive in most races and durable enough to handle aggressive opponents. Pair it with the Blizzard-V4 for exploration.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get my first vehicle in NTE?
You automatically receive the Rover A1 motorcycle after completing your first film anomaly commission early in the main story. This happens within the first 30 minutes of gameplay.
Can motorcycles participate in races?
No. Only four-wheeled vehicles (cars) can enter races. Motorcycles are exclusively for open-world exploration and transportation, but they have the advantage of being summonable anywhere.
What is the best car in NTE?
The Porsche 918 Spyder (V1.1 event exclusive) has the highest overall stats. Among permanently available vehicles, the Pendragon (12M Fons) is the best all-rounder, while the LaVelox (10.8M Fons) has the highest top speed.
Where do I buy vehicles?
Vehicles are sold at three dealerships: Novus Showroom (budget cars), Regalia Showroom (premium cars and motorcycles), and TerraX Showroom (the G3 only). You need to unlock the Garage at City Tycoon level 2 first.
Can I steal vehicles from NPCs?
You can attempt to requisition vehicles from NPC drivers, but they may refuse. Forcing the requisition or stealing parked cars gives you an instant one-star wanted level, which is generally not worth the hassle.
