Damage Formula
The damage formula in NTE follows this structure:
Total ATK = Base ATK × (1 + ATK%) + Flat ATK
DEF Multiplier = (Char Level + 100) / ((Char Level + 100) + (Enemy Level + 100) × (1 - DEF Reduction%))
RES Multiplier = 1 - (Enemy RES% - RES Reduction%) / 100. If result is negative, it becomes a damage bonus.
Expected DMG = Non-Crit × (1 - CRT Rate) + Crit × CRT Rate
Crit DMG = Base DMG × (1 + CRT DMG% / 100)

How to Use the NTE Damage Calculator
The NTE Damage Calculator helps you determine the exact damage output of your character build in Neverness to Everness. By inputting your character's Base ATK, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and elemental bonuses, the calculator computes both average damage and critical hit damage, giving you a clear picture of your build's effectiveness.
The damage formula in NTE follows the standard gacha RPG structure: Final Damage = Base ATK × ATK% Bonus × CRIT Multiplier × Elemental DMG Bonus × Enemy DEF Reduction. Understanding this formula is essential for optimizing your Console (Cartridge) set choices and Arc (weapon) selection.
Stat Priority Guide
For DPS characters like Chiz and Lacrimosa, the optimal stat priority is: CRIT Rate (aim for 60-70%) → CRIT DMG (aim for 120-150%) → ATK% → Elemental DMG Bonus. A balanced CRIT ratio of 1:2 (CRIT Rate to CRIT DMG) generally maximizes average damage output.
Build Comparison Tips
Use the Save Build feature to compare multiple Console set configurations side by side. This is especially useful when deciding between two-piece and four-piece Console set bonuses, or when choosing between an ATK%-focused build and a CRIT DMG-focused build. See our Console Database for set bonus details.
