About NTE's Gacha System (Scarborough Fair)
Neverness to Everness uses a dice-board gacha system called Scarborough Fair. Unlike traditional gacha games where you simply pull from a banner, NTE's system involves rolling dice to move across a board, landing on different reward tiles. This unique mechanic adds an extra layer of strategy and excitement to the pulling experience.
The published S-Rank base rate is 1.87% per pull, with a soft pity (Board Modification) starting at 70 pulls — the rate jumps to 19.59% — and a hard pity guarantee at 90 pulls. Unlike most gacha games, NTE has no 50/50 system: every S-Rank pulled on a limited banner is guaranteed to be the featured character.
How Many Annuliths Do You Need?
On average, players spend 50–60 Annuliths per S-Rank character. Since NTE has no 50/50, you only need to budget for one guarantee — approximately 90 Annuliths to hard-pity a limited character. Most players get their S-Rank well before hard pity thanks to the Board Modification at 70 pulls. Use this simulator to test different scenarios and plan your spending. Check our Pity Tracker to monitor your current pull count, and the Tier List to decide which characters are worth pulling for.
