Pixel Surge doubles the rewards earned from content that consumes Character Pixels. This is the dedicated farming window for Character Pixel-based activities in Version 1.2.

What Are Character Pixels?

Character Pixels are a currency used to run specific content in NTE. They regenerate over time and can also be replenished with items. Content that consumes Character Pixels typically rewards character-specific upgrade materials, Cartridges, and other progression resources.

Best Content to Run During Pixel Surge

The double reward multiplier applies to all content that consumes Character Pixels. Priority targets:

• Character-specific material dungeons — if you need ascension or skill materials for Shinku or Iroi, this is the best time to farm them
• Cartridge (Module) farming — if you need specific Cartridges for your build, Pixel Surge doubles the drop rate efficiency
• Any content with a Character Pixel cost — check the event page in-game for the full eligible content list

Tips

Save Character Pixel refill items for this week. Any refill items used during August 3–10 yield twice the rewards. Check your inventory for any accumulated refill items before the event starts.

Prioritize Iroi’s materials. Iroi’s banner runs July 29 – August 19. By August 3, you’ll have had Iroi for about 5 days. If she needs ascension or skill materials, Pixel Surge is the best farming window during her banner period.
