Monthly Pull Income (F2P)
As a free-to-play player, here’s approximately how many pulls you can earn per month:
| Source | Pulls/Month | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Daily Commissions | ~10 | 4 commissions × 30 days |
| Weekly Bounties | ~4 | Reset every Monday |
| Spiral Abyss / Endgame | ~8 | Biweekly reset |
| Events | ~15 | Average across patches |
| Maintenance Compensation | ~3 | Per update |
| Redeem Codes | ~2 | Check our Codes page |
| Exploration (new areas) | ~10 | One-time per patch |
| Monthly Login | ~5 | Cumulative rewards |
| Total | ~57 pulls/month |
Over a typical 6-week patch cycle, F2P players can expect ~85 pulls. This means you can guarantee one S-Rank character every 2 patch cycles (worst case with 50/50 loss).
Resource Priority Guide
What to Spend Annulith (Premium Currency) On
| Priority | Item | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Limited Character Banner | Your main source of S-Rank characters |
| 2 | Monthly Pass (if you buy one thing) | Best value at $5/month |
| 3 | Nothing else | Save everything for banners |
What NOT to Spend On
- Standard banner (you get free tickets anyway)
- Stamina refreshes (not worth it long-term)
- Cosmetics (tempting but zero gameplay value)
- Resource packs (farmable for free)
Best F2P Characters
These characters are strong, easy to obtain, and don’t require constellations:
S-Rank (from Standard Banner / Reruns)
- Hotori — Excellent Anima DPS, available on standard banner
- Nanally — Top-tier support, works at base copy
A-Rank (Easy to Max)
- Sakiri — One of the best supports in the game, even at A-Rank
- Mint — Solid healer/support for any team
- Adler — Reliable DPS option for early game
- Fadia — Strong sub-DPS with good energy generation
Free Characters
- Characters given through story progression
- Event reward characters (limited-time)
Team Building on a Budget
Principle 1: Focus on One DPS
Don’t spread resources across multiple DPS characters. Pick one main DPS and funnel all your upgrade materials into them.
Principle 2: Supports Scale Better
A-Rank supports often perform 80-90% as well as S-Rank supports. Invest in good A-Rank supports while saving pulls for S-Rank DPS.
Principle 3: Reaction Teams are King
Teams built around elemental reactions deal significantly more damage than raw stat teams. Learn the reaction system and build accordingly.
Sample F2P Teams
Team 1: Charged Reaction
- Main DPS: Hotori (standard banner S-Rank)
- Sub-DPS: Any Cosmos character
- Support: Sakiri (A-Rank)
- Flex: Mint (healer) or another reaction enabler
Team 2: Anima Stack
- Main DPS: Adler (A-Rank)
- Sub-DPS: Any Anima character
- Support: Mint (A-Rank)
- Flex: Sakiri or element-matching support
Daily Routine (15-20 Minutes)
Maximize your daily progress without burnout:
- Daily Commissions (5 min) — Always complete all 4
- Spend Stamina (10 min) — Farm character/Arc materials
- Check Shops (1 min) — Buy discounted items from rotating shops
- Collect Expeditions (1 min) — Send characters on resource expeditions
Use our Daily Checklist tool to track everything.
Stamina Management
You regenerate 1 Stamina every 6 minutes (240/day natural regen). Here’s how to spend it efficiently:
Priority Spending Order
- Limited-time event stages (often cost-reduced or free)
- Character Ascension materials (for your main DPS)
- Arc farming (for your main DPS’s set)
- Console farming (after Arc sets are complete)
- Credit stages (only when broke)
Tips
- Never let stamina cap (waste = lost progress)
- Don’t refresh stamina with Annulith (save for pulls)
- Event stages often give better rewards per stamina
Pulling Strategy
The Golden Rules
- Never pull on standard banner with premium currency
- Always have a plan before a patch drops
- Skip characters you don’t need even if they’re strong
- Pity carries over between limited banners of the same type
- 50/50 loss is not wasted — it guarantees the next featured character
When to Pull
- Pull when you need the character for your team
- Pull when you have enough to guarantee (160 pulls worst case)
- Pull on reruns if you missed a character the first time
When to Skip
- Skip if the character doesn’t fit your team
- Skip if you’re saving for a confirmed upcoming character
- Skip if you’re below 80 pulls and can’t guarantee
Use our Pity Tracker to monitor your pull history.
Progression Milestones
| Week | Goal | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Clear main story Act 1 | Unlock all daily content |
| 2 | Reach Account Level 30 | Unlock endgame domains |
| 3 | Main DPS to Level 60 | Farm ascension materials |
| 4 | Complete first Abyss clear | Earn pull rewards |
| 5-6 | Farm Arc sets | Get main DPS to 4-piece set |
| 7-8 | Build second team | Prepare for Abyss Floor 8+ |
Common F2P Mistakes
- Spreading resources too thin — Focus on 4-5 characters max
- Pulling on every banner — Discipline is your strongest weapon
- Ignoring A-Rank characters — Many are meta-relevant
- Skipping events — Events are your biggest pull income source
- Refreshing stamina — The Annulith is better spent on pulls
- Neglecting exploration — Chests and puzzles give significant one-time rewards
- Upgrading wrong talents — Prioritize your DPS’s main damage talent first
