The Neon Rift Mystery Box is a major limited-time gacha event in Neverness to Everness Version 1.2 “999 Nights”. This event gives players the chance to obtain the exclusive limited vehicle Draco, along with outfits for Esper Zero and various other valuable resources.
This guide breaks down all the rewards in the pool, how the increasing cost mechanic works, and whether you should spend Fons or Annulith to pull.
Event Duration
The Neon Rift Mystery Box event runs throughout the first half of Version 1.2:
- Starts: July 8, 2026 (after Version 1.2 update)
- Ends: August 19, 2026, 05:59 (UTC+8)
How the Mystery Box Works
Unlike standard character banners, the Mystery Box uses a finite pool system with an increasing cost mechanic:
- There are exactly 15 boxes in the total pool.
- Every time you open a box, that reward is removed from the pool.
- The cost to open a box increases with each pull.
- Opening all 15 boxes guarantees that you will obtain every single reward in the pool.
You can choose to pay for pulls using either Fons (the standard in-game currency) or Annulith (premium currency).
NTE.wiki Tip: We highly recommend using Fons to clear the Mystery Box. Save your Annulith for character pulls (like Shinku or Iroi), as Fons can be farmed relatively easily through daily activities and events like the Pink Paws Heist.
Complete Reward Pool
If you clear all 15 boxes, you are guaranteed to receive the following items:
| Reward Type | Item | Quantity |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle | ”Draco” Limited Vehicle | 1 |
| Outfit | Esper Zero “Glory Days” Outfit | 1 |
| Outfit Color | ”Glory Days - Starfall” | 1 |
| Outfit Color | ”Glory Days - Braveheart” | 1 |
| Cosmetic | ”Ember Trail” Avatar Frame | 1 |
| Currency | Fabricated Dice (Pulls) | 10 |
| Currency | Fons | 100,000 |
| Item | A Handwritten Letter | 1 |
| (Other minor materials) | Various upgrade materials | Multiple |
The Draco Vehicle
The grand prize of the Neon Rift is the Draco, a high-performance sports car with a sleek, aggressive design that perfectly matches the urban aesthetic of Hethereau. Obtaining the Draco also unlocks its exclusive customization options in the garage.
Esper Zero’s “Glory Days” Outfit
Esper Zero receives a premium outfit alongside two exclusive color variations (Starfall and Braveheart). These can be equipped from the character menu once unlocked.
Fons Cost Breakdown
Note: The exact Fons cost per pull will be confirmed when the servers go live on July 8. The table below is based on the previous Porsche Mystery Box event structure.
| Pull Number | Estimated Fons Cost |
|---|---|
| Pull 1 | Free / Very Low |
| Pull 2-5 | Gradually increasing |
| Pull 6-10 | Moderate |
| Pull 11-14 | High |
| Pull 15 | Highest |
| Total to clear | ~2,500,000 Fons |
We will update this table with the exact 1.2 numbers as soon as the update is live.
Should You Pull?
Yes, absolutely.
Because you can use Fons to clear the entire box, this is essentially a “free” event for active players. Even if you don’t care about the Draco vehicle or Esper Zero’s outfit, the box contains 10 Fabricated Dice (worth 1,600 Annulith) and other valuable materials.
Strategy:
- Do not use Annulith.
- Farm the Pink Paws Heist daily to accumulate Fons.
- Take advantage of the Gold Clash Event (July 20 – August 3), which doubles the Fons you earn from Pink Paws Heist.
- Clear the entire box before August 19.
