NTE Version 1.2 Banner Schedule

While Version 1.1 is currently in full swing with Lacrimosa and Chaos, the Neverness to Everness (NTE) community is already looking ahead to Version 1.2. Based on recent reliable leaks and official teasers, Version 1.2 will introduce two highly anticipated S-Rank characters: Shinku and Iroi.

Here is the expected banner schedule for Version 1.2:

  • Version 1.2 Release Date: July 2, 2026
  • Phase 1 Banner (Shinku): July 2 – July 23, 2026
  • Phase 2 Banner (Iroi): July 23 – August 13, 2026

Note: As with all leaks, this information is subject to change before the official V1.2 livestream broadcast.

Phase 1: Shinku (S-Rank, Light)

Shinku is expected to be the featured S-Rank character in the first half of Version 1.2.

Leaked Kit and Role

According to community leaks and datamines, Shinku is a Lumina (Light) attribute Main DPS. She is designed around heavy burst damage and flashy, multi-hit combos.

Her Ultimate reportedly deals massive Area of Effect (AoE) damage to surrounding enemies before locking onto the primary target for a devastating finishing blow. This makes her incredibly versatile, capable of handling both mob clearing in the Underground Circuit and single-target boss DPS.

Best Teams for Shinku

Because the Light attribute already has a solid foundation of characters, Shinku will likely slot perfectly into existing “Creation” archetype teams.

  • Optimal Light Team: Shinku (Main DPS) + Iroi (Support) + Protagonist + Jiuyuan
  • Boss Killing Team: Shinku + Iroi + Protagonist + Hathor

Phase 2: Iroi (S-Rank, Spirit)

Iroi is expected to headline the second half of the patch.

Leaked Kit and Role

Iroi is leaked to be a Lingxi (Spirit) attribute Support character. While her exact multipliers are unknown, early data suggests her kit revolves around providing universal damage buffs, optimizing team rotations, and applying utility effects to enemies.

Support characters in gacha games traditionally have a much longer lifespan in the meta than DPS characters. If Iroi’s buffs are as strong as rumored, she will be a must-pull for players looking to future-proof their accounts.

Best Teams for Iroi

As a support, Iroi’s true strength lies in her flexibility.

  • With Shinku: She is expected to be the premier support for Shinku’s Light team.
  • Flexible Support: Iroi + Protagonist + Jiuyuan + [Any Main DPS]. Her buffs are rumored to be universal enough to benefit almost any DPS in the game.

Who Should You Pull? (Shinku vs. Iroi)

With two powerful characters arriving back-to-back, F2P and low-spending players need to plan their Annulith carefully.

Pull Shinku if:

  • You are a new player and need a strong, reliable Main DPS to carry you through the story and early endgame.
  • You enjoy flashy, fast-paced burst combat.
  • You want to build the ultimate Light-attribute team.

Pull Iroi if:

  • You already have fully built Main DPS characters (like Lacrimosa, Chaos, or Adler).
  • You value long-term account investment. Support characters rarely fall out of the meta quickly.
  • You want a flexible character who can slot into multiple different team compositions.

The Verdict: If your account lacks damage, go for Shinku. If your damage is fine but your teams feel clunky or lack buffs, save your pulls for Iroi in Phase 2.
