Sweet and Sour
Tomato Metal: Swings Frying Pan for up to 5 consecutive attacks dealing Chaos DMG. The 2nd attack projectile can be shattered by subsequent attacks for extra AoE. Tomato Percussion: Manipulates Red Jelly for up to 5 ranged attacks dealing Chaos DMG. Each hit inflicts 1 stack of Nightmare.
Flavor Variation
Swap stances at any time via Aim button. From Metal: flying kick forward dealing Chaos DMG, switches to Percussion. From Percussion: leap + ground slam AoE, switches to Metal. Current stance determines Ultimate pattern.
Devilish Inspiration
Hold Aim to enter targeting mode. Deals Chaos DMG to enemy in crosshair and permanently learns their combat technique, replacing Morning Tomato. 46 enemy techniques available. Can forget on Skill page to restore Morning Tomato.
Morning Tomato
Throws a barrage of unfinished Esper Ability Constructs dealing Chaos DMG to all targets in the area and inflicting Nightmare. Combos into 5th hit of current stance after casting. Cooldown resets via Sleep In passive.
Devilish Gift (Redirect)
Creates mobs identical to original skill owner using Lacrimosa's Esper Ability. Triggers corresponding skill effects. Grants percentage of original owner's ATK. Cannot move during cast but can cancel or switch.
Working Day Judgement
Tomato Metal: Controls Truck dealing 10 instances of Chaos DMG to area. Tomato Percussion: Dismantles Car dealing 5 instances of Chaos DMG. Both inflict Nightmare on all targets in range. 120 Energy cost.
Microwake
Manipulates Esper Ability Constructs dealing 1 instance of Chaos DMG to an area. Used on tag-in.
Tomato Banquet
Discord Enhancement: Deals additional DMG equal to 400% of ATK to the target when Discord is triggered, if the target is already Broken.
Sleep In
Grants 1 additional use of Morning Tomato after using Tomato Metal or Tomato Percussion 5 times during skill cooldown. Activates once per cooldown.
Bat Flight (Life Skill)
Transforms into a bat when out of combat. Hold dodge to enter flight mode. Costs stamina. Unique exploration traversal ability.

Lacrimosa is an S-Rank Chaos Liquid character released in NTE Version 1.1. She operates as a main DPS specializing in Damage-over-Time through her signature Nightmare debuff mechanic. Her dual-stance system allows switching between close-range Frying Pan attacks (Tomato Metal) and ranged Red Jelly manipulation (Tomato Percussion), giving her adaptability across different combat scenarios.
Her defining feature is the Discord Enhancement passive (Tomato Banquet), which deals an additional 400% ATK damage when Discord is triggered on a Broken enemy. This makes her the strongest Discord-focused DPS in the current roster when paired with the correct team composition.

Dual-Stance System
Lacrimosa alternates between two attack modules using Flavor Variation:

The optimal damage loop is: stack 10 Nightmare → trigger all at once (A3) → reapply during the burst window.
Devilish Inspiration (Enemy Copy)
Lacrimosa can permanently learn enemy combat techniques by targeting them in Aim mode. This replaces Morning Tomato with the copied skill. There are 46 copyable enemy techniques in the game, each with unique effects. Techniques persist across sessions and can be managed on the Skill page.

The Last Rose is tailor-made for Lacrimosa. Every Nightmare tick generates a Chaos Thorn stack, and her multi-hit kit reaches 10 stacks rapidly. The Broken state extension synergizes directly with her Discord Enhancement passive.

The 4-piece bonus doubles when Lacrimosa participates in Nova or Scorch reactions — which she does constantly in a Discord team. No alternative set comes close for Chaos DPS.
Console Setup
Lacrimosa’s Console bonus is Type III Specialization: +10% Chaos DMG Bonus for each Type III Module equipped. Prioritize Type III modules in all slots.

For A6 builds focused on rapid Cycle triggers, Cycle Rate becomes a top sub-stat priority to accelerate Esper Meter generation.
Skill Priority
Basic Attack > Ultimate >= Skill > Support Skill
Basic Attack is the highest priority because Nightmare damage scales from it. Ultimate and Skill are roughly equal — both deal heavy burst and apply Nightmare stacks.

This team enables full Discord access: Scorch (Incantation→Chaos via Sakiri→Lacrimosa/Daffodill) and Nova (Chaos→Psyche via Lacrimosa/Daffodill→Fadia). When both Nova and Scorch are active, Discord triggers massive Break damage. Lacrimosa’s Tomato Banquet then adds 400% ATK bonus on the Broken target.
Rotation: Sakiri Skill (ATK buff) → swap to Daffodill (triggers Scorch) → Daffodill Break combo → swap to Fadia (triggers Nova) → swap to Lacrimosa (Support Skill, A2 buff) → Basic Attack chain → Morning Tomato → Ultimate → Discord triggers on Broken target.

Haniel and Adler are both free characters that fill the required element slots. Reactions trigger slower than the premium team, but the Discord loop remains functional.

Two Chaos + two Incantation limits reactions to Scorch only. Sakiri’s passive increases DoT taken by 25% per DoT type (up to 100%). With Nightmare, Scorch, and Power Word all active, enemies take massively amplified damage. Trade-off: no Discord access.
Gameplay Tips
The standard rotation prioritizes stacking 10 Nightmare before triggering burst. Enter with Support Skill for A2 buff, immediately cast Morning Tomato for instant Nightmare stacks, then complete a full Basic Attack chain. The Sleep In passive grants a bonus Morning Tomato use after 5 attacks, allowing rapid re-application.
For the Ultimate, Tomato Metal mode (Truck, 10 hits) is generally preferred for Nightmare stacking, while Tomato Percussion mode (Car, 5 hits) is better for quick burst in tight vulnerability windows.
Lacrimosa is somewhat squishy and requires a defensive teammate (Fadia or Adler) for endgame content. Use Critical Riposte (dodge counter) aggressively — it deals 6 instances of Chaos DMG and reduces Break while providing invincibility frames.
