NTE Steam Profile Items Guide — Dumcat Animated Avatar & More

Neverness to Everness added Dumcat-themed items to the Steam Points Shop on July 14, 2026. These are Steam profile cosmetics — not in-game items — available to any player who has the game on Steam and enough Steam Points to spend.

What’s Available in the NTE Steam Points Shop

The current Dumcat collection includes four item types:

The items feature Dumcat, the iconic cat mascot associated with the Eibon antique shop in Hethereau. Dumcat appears throughout the game as ambient decoration and has become one of the most recognizable symbols of NTE’s visual identity.

How to Get Steam Points

Steam Points are earned through purchases on Steam — not through gameplay. There is no way to earn them by playing NTE itself.

Receive a gift	Points equivalent to purchase value
Steam seasonal sale bonus	Bonus multiplier during sales events

If you have an existing Steam library, check your Points balance at store.steampowered.com/points/shop — you may already have enough from past purchases.

How to Redeem Steam Profile Items

1. Go to the NTE Steam Points Shop page
2. Select the item you want and click Redeem
3. Open your Steam profile and click Edit Profile
4. Under Profile Customization, select the item from your inventory
5. Save changes — the item will appear on your public Steam profile immediately

Are These Worth Getting?

These are purely cosmetic Steam profile items with no in-game effect. Whether they’re worth spending Steam Points on depends entirely on how much you value Steam profile customization.

For players who actively use Steam’s social features and want to show off their NTE affiliation, the animated avatar and mini profile are the most visible options. The background is only visible to visitors who click through to your full profile page.

If you’re saving Steam Points for a specific game purchase or other cosmetics, these are easy to skip without any gameplay impact.

Will More Characters Be Added?

Based on community requests (Nanally, Lacrimosa, and male characters are frequently mentioned), it’s likely that Hotta Studio will expand the Steam Points Shop with additional character-themed items in future versions. The Dumcat collection appears to be the first NTE-branded Steam cosmetic release.
