Deadzone Calibration

If your character moves without touching the stick (stick drift):

  1. Go to Settings → Controller → Deadzone
  2. Increase deadzone by 2-3% until drift stops
  3. Test in-game to ensure responsiveness isn’t lost

Button Remapping

NTE supports full button remapping:

  1. Settings → Controller → Button Mapping
  2. Select the action you want to change
  3. Press the new button
  4. Confirm

Popular remaps:

  • Dodge on LB/L1 — Easier to access during combat

  • Ultimate on LB+RB — Prevents accidental activation

Keyboard + Controller Hybrid

Some players prefer using keyboard for menus and controller for combat:

  • NTE supports hot-switching between input methods
  • Simply touch the keyboard to switch to KB+M mode
  • Touch the controller to switch back
  • No restart required

FAQ

Q: Can I use controller and touch controls simultaneously on mobile? A: Yes, the game supports hybrid input. Touch the screen to use touch controls even with a controller connected.

Q: Does NTE support gyro aiming? A: Not currently. This may be added in a future update.

Q: My controller has input delay. How to fix? A: Use a wired connection. If wireless, ensure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering. On PC, close background apps that might intercept controller input.

Q: Can I use two controllers for co-op on the same device? A: No, NTE only supports one controller per device. Co-op requires separate devices.
