Collaboration Overview
The Neverness to Everness x Porsche 918 Spyder collaboration arrives in Version 1.1, marking the game’s first major brand partnership. The collaboration introduces the Porsche 918 Spyder as a driveable vehicle alongside exclusive cosmetics through the “Velocity Rush” Mystery Box system. All collaboration items are purely cosmetic and provide no gameplay advantage — the Porsche 918 Spyder functions identically to other vehicles in terms of game mechanics, though it boasts the highest top speed currently available and significant tuning potential.
| Item | Type | Acquisition |
|---|---|---|
| Porsche 918 Spyder | Vehicle | Velocity Rush Mystery Box |
| ”Best Partner” Outfit | Esper Zero Costume | Velocity Rush Mystery Box |
| ”Heart-Stopping Moment” | Avatar Frame | Velocity Rush Mystery Box |
| Exclusive Namecard | Profile Decoration | Velocity Rush Mystery Box |
| Forged Dice | Pull Currency | Velocity Rush Mystery Box |
Velocity Rush Mystery Box Mechanics
The Porsche collaboration uses a unique banner system separate from character and weapon banners. The Mystery Box allows a maximum of 15 draws, with all rewards guaranteed upon completing all 15 draws. Unlike character banners, the Porsche 918 Spyder has a 0% drop rate for the first 5 draws — it only enters the pool starting at Draw 6.
Cost Per Draw
Each draw costs progressively more than the previous one. Players can pay with either Annulith or Fons (or a mix of both):
| Draw | Annulith | Fons | Cumulative Annulith | Cumulative Fons |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 50 | 50,000 | 50 | 50,000 |
| 2 | 100 | 100,000 | 150 | 150,000 |
| 3 | 200 | 200,000 | 350 | 350,000 |
| 4 | 400 | 400,000 | 750 | 750,000 |
| 5 | 600 | 600,000 | 1,350 | 1,350,000 |
| 6 | 800 | 800,000 | 2,150 | 2,150,000 |
| 7 | 1,000 | 1,100,000 | 3,150 | 3,250,000 |
| 8 | 1,200 | 1,400,000 | 4,350 | 4,650,000 |
| 9 | 1,400 | 1,700,000 | 5,750 | 6,350,000 |
| 10 | 1,600 | 2,100,000 | 7,350 | 8,450,000 |
| 11 | 1,800 | 2,500,000 | 9,150 | 10,950,000 |
| 12 | 2,000 | 2,900,000 | 11,150 | 13,850,000 |
| 13 | 2,200 | 3,300,000 | 13,350 | 17,150,000 |
| 14 | 2,400 | 3,700,000 | 15,750 | 20,850,000 |
| 15 | 2,600 | 4,200,000 | 12,980* | ~19,800,000* |
Note: The total Annulith cost is confirmed at 12,980 (not the simple sum of individual draws). The Fons total is approximately 19.8-20M based on CN server data.
Drop Rate Progression
The Porsche 918 Spyder and “Best Partner” outfit share the prize pool with lower-tier items. As items are drawn, they are removed from the pool, progressively increasing the odds of remaining prizes:
- Draws 1-5: Porsche rate is 0% (locked). Only minor rewards available.
- Draw 6: Porsche enters the pool. Initial rate is low.
- Draws 7-10: Probability steadily increases as minor items are cleared.
- Draws 11-14: High probability zone. Most players obtain the Porsche during this window.
- Draw 15: 100% guarantee of all remaining items.
Based on CN server data, the Porsche has approximately 68.14% chance of being obtained per pity cycle, with the outfit at 19.26% per pity. Draw 15 guarantees everything remaining.
Fons vs Annulith: Which Currency to Use
This decision has significant implications for account progression.
Use Fons (Recommended for Most Players)
Fons are the city’s grindable currency earned through City Tycoon, exploration, Pink Paw Heist, Realm of Greed, and daily activities. Fons cannot be used for character banners, so spending them on the Porsche does not compete with roster progression. The opportunity cost of Fons is limited to City Tycoon upgrades, properties, and other vehicle purchases.
Advantage: Zero impact on character banner savings. Disadvantage: Requires ~1.8 patches of dedicated saving from zero. Delays property purchases and City Tycoon investment.
Use Annulith (Only for Heavy Spenders)
Annulith is the premium currency used for character and weapon banners. Every Annulith spent on the Porsche is one fewer Annulith available for limited character pulls. At 12,980 Annulith, the Porsche costs approximately 81 character banner pulls — enough to guarantee one S-Rank character from a Limited Board.
Advantage: Instant acquisition without Fon saving. Disadvantage: Equivalent to sacrificing one guaranteed limited character. Devastating for F2P accounts.
Mixed Pool Strategy
Version 1.1 allows combining Fons and Annulith within the same Mystery Box. Annulith can fill up to 12,930 of the Fons deficit. This is useful for players who have 15-18M Fons saved and want to bridge the remaining gap with a small Annulith investment rather than waiting another patch.
When to mix: Only when you are within 3-5M Fons of the total cost AND you have already secured enough Annulith for your target character banner. Never mix if it means missing a character pity.
Fon Income Analysis
Understanding monthly Fon generation helps determine how long saving takes:
| Source | Fons/Patch (~6 weeks) |
|---|---|
| Pink Paw Heist (×3 cycles) | ~3,000,000 |
| Realm of Greed (weekly) | ~1,200,000 |
| City Tycoon Hobbies | ~2,500,000 |
| Daily activities | ~1,800,000 |
| Events (average) | ~1,500,000 |
| Exploration (ongoing) | ~500,000 |
| Auction House flips | ~500,000 |
| Total per patch | ~11,000,000 |
At 11M Fons per patch and a 20M Fons target:
- Starting from 0 Fons: ~1.8 patches (approximately 11 weeks)
- Starting from 10M Fons: ~0.9 patches (approximately 5-6 weeks)
- Starting from 15M Fons: ~0.5 patches (approximately 3 weeks)
Hidden Costs: Property and Garage
The Porsche is not the only Fon sink in Version 1.1. The update also introduces:
Pegasus Residence — A luxury penthouse property requiring Fons to purchase and furnish. The car elevator feature (needed to display vehicles in your home) adds additional cost.
Garage System — A vehicle display and management system that costs Fons to unlock and upgrade. Required for proper vehicle collection management.
Players targeting the Porsche should budget these expenses separately. The true cost of fully participating in the vehicle meta exceeds 20M Fons when including property and garage investments. Consider deferring property purchases until after securing the Porsche if Fons are limited.
Comparison to Previous Vehicles
| Vehicle | Cost | Currency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Porsche 918 Spyder | ~20M Fons / 12,980 Annulith | Fons or Annulith | Limited collab, highest top speed |
| Pen Dragon | ~12M Fons | Fons only | Previous most expensive |
| Standard vehicles | 1-5M Fons | Fons only | Permanent availability |
| Free vehicles | 0 | Quest/Event rewards | Functional but basic |
The Porsche represents a 67% price increase over the previous most expensive vehicle. It sets a new precedent for NTE’s cosmetic economy and signals that future collaborations may carry similar price tags.
Should You Pull?
F2P / Low Spender
Skip unless you have 15M+ Fons saved. The Porsche competes directly with City Tycoon Level 16 progression, property purchases, and Auction House bidding. If your City Tycoon is below Level 16, every Fon spent on the Porsche delays the doubled-efficiency breakpoint that compounds over every subsequent week. Only pursue the Porsche if City Tycoon Level 16 is already reached and you have substantial Fon reserves.
Never use Annulith. The 12,980 Annulith cost equals one guaranteed limited character — an irreplaceable gameplay asset versus a cosmetic vehicle.
Dolphin / Monthly Pass Buyer
Consider if Fons are available. Monthly pass buyers have slightly higher Annulith income but should still prioritize character banners. If you have 15M+ Fons and your next target character is 2+ patches away, the Porsche is a reasonable luxury purchase using Fons exclusively.
Whale / Heavy Spender
Pull freely. 12,980 Annulith is trivial for heavy spenders, and the Porsche is a prestige item designed for this spending tier. Use Annulith for instant acquisition and preserve Fon reserves for properties and garage.
Collector / Cosmetic-Focused
Commit to full Fon saving. This is a limited-time collaboration item that will not return. Defer all property spending until after the event ends. Only use Annulith to bridge a small remaining gap if you are within 3-5M Fons of the target.
Timing Considerations
The Porsche collaboration runs concurrently with Lacrimosa and Chaos banners. Players must decide how to allocate resources:
| Scenario | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Want Lacrimosa + Porsche | Annulith → Lacrimosa, Fons → Porsche |
| Want Chaos + Porsche | Save Annulith for Chaos (June 24), Fons → Porsche |
| Want both characters + Porsche | Need ~25,600 Annulith for both characters + 20M Fons for Porsche |
| Want Porsche only | Full Fons investment, save all Annulith for future |
Phase 2 Teaser
The official announcement confirms a Phase 2 of the Porsche collaboration bringing additional classic Porsche models, vehicles, and customized paint jobs. Release date is TBA. Players who cannot afford the Phase 1 Porsche 918 Spyder may want to wait for Phase 2 details before committing resources.
