The stacking condition is remarkably easy to fulfill: any nearby enemy taking Anima DMG from any team member generates a stack. In teams with multiple Anima characters (Nanally + Jiuyuan, for example), stacks accumulate rapidly and maintain maximum uptime due to the 10-second per-stack duration and off-field persistence.
The off-field mechanic is particularly valuable for characters like Nanally whose follow-up attacks trigger while she’s technically off-field. Stacks built by teammates persist when the wearer switches in, ensuring the burst window always has maximum CRIT DMG available.

Nanally’s constant follow-up attacks generate Anima hits every second, maintaining 7 stacks effortlessly. Her CRIT DMG scaling from this set alone (56%) rivals what most characters get from their entire substat budget. Combined with her innate CRIT Rate from Console passives, Fireflies provides the highest damage ceiling for Nanally.
Jiuyuan (S-Tier)
Jiuyuan’s Lethal Rose Pact and Pact Settlement both deal Anima damage, generating stacks naturally through her rotation. The CRIT DMG bonus amplifies her burst damage significantly, especially during Final Reckoning where multiple settlements trigger simultaneously.
