Jiuyuan Overview

Jiuyuan is an S-Rank Anima Burst DPS character in Neverness to Everness, built around a mark-and-detonate playstyle using her Lethal Rose Pact system. Rather than simple button-mashing, Jiuyuan rewards methodical setup: marking enemies, generating Rose Pact Bullets, then triggering Pact Settlement for massive burst damage through her Ultimate.

Her kit also provides significant team utility through the Blossom Enhancement passive, which spawns additional Vita Buds and raises the on-field limit to 6. This makes Jiuyuan a cornerstone of Vita Bud compositions alongside Nanally and Zero. The combination of personal burst damage and team Blossom amplification makes her one of the most versatile S-Rank characters available.

Fireflies and the Forest strengthens Jiuyuan’s entire damage profile. Her rotation generates frequent Anima hits that maintain maximum stacks naturally, and the CRIT DMG bonus (up to 56%) applies to both Pact Settlement and Ultimate damage. The off-field persistence means stacks built by teammates remain when Jiuyuan switches in for her burst.

The premier Jiuyuan team maximizes Vita Bud generation. Zero supplies Cosmos for Blossom triggers, Jiuyuan and Nanally maintain constant Anima pressure, and Sakiri provides grouping and control. The team excels in mob-heavy content where multiple enemies can be marked simultaneously.

Charge Composition: Chiz + Jiuyuan + Hathor + Fadia

A reaction-heavy team using Blossom (Anima + Cosmos via Chiz), Remora (Cosmos + Lakshana via Hathor), and Stain (Psyche + Lakshana via Fadia). Charged reactions feed Ultimate Energy to all characters, enabling frequent burst rotations.

Discord Team: Daffodill + Jiuyuan + Baicang + Fadia

Focuses on Break pressure through Discord (Scorch + Nova stacking). Baicang and Daffodill set up Scorch, while Daffodill and Fadia enable Nova. Jiuyuan adds Anima damage, control, and Hexed pressure with Baicang’s Incantation element.

Rotation Guide

Standard Mark-and-Detonate Rotation

1. Basic Attack x5 → Final hit establishes Lethal Rose Pact on target
2. Hold Basic (Info-Guided Arts) → Fire Rose Pact Bullets at marked targets
3. Redirect Skill (Intel Hunter) → Dash + pull + mark + 4 Bullets
4. Hold Basic → Fire Bullets to trigger Pact Settlement
5. Repeat marking and settling until Ultimate is ready

Burst Rotation (Final Reckoning)

1. Mark multiple enemies → Use Basic x5 and Intel Hunter on different targets
2. Generate Rose Pact Bullets → Minimum 4-6 bullets stored
3. Ultimate (Final Reckoning) → Forces ALL marked targets into settlement stage
4. Final hit triggers simultaneous settlement → Massive AoE burst
5. Hold Basic immediately after → Fire remaining Bullets for additional settlements
6. Switch → Pass to support characters while marks rebuild

Vita Bud Support Rotation

When running Jiuyuan primarily for Blossom support:

1. Redirect Skill → Quick mark application + Bullet generation
2. Support Skill (Intel Lock-On) → Curved bullet for mark + 2 Bullets
3. Switch → Let Vita Buds fire from off-field
4. Jiuyuan’s passive spawns extra Vita Buds and raises limit to 6

Tips for Maximum DPS

• Lethal Rose Pact lasts 25 seconds — you have ample time to set up before detonating
• Rose Pact Bullets prioritize marked targets when fired via Info-Guided Arts
• Final Reckoning forces ALL marked targets into settlement simultaneously — mark as many as possible before using Ultimate
• Pact Settlement grants massive Ultimate Energy — Jiuyuan can chain Ultimates in multi-target scenarios
• The Whispers at My Command passive binds unmarked targets hit by Vita Pistils, extending mark coverage passively
• Critical Riposte (after Perfect Dodge) grants 2 Bullets and establishes a mark — use it reactively
• In Blossom teams, Jiuyuan’s passive is the primary reason to include her even if she never uses Ultimate
