Nanally

Overview

Nanally is the head of the Colucci Family and the strongest standard-banner DPS in Neverness to Everness. Her entire kit revolves around Ichi-daime’s Authority — an empowered state that transforms her Basic Attacks into devastating follow-up strike chains. With her SS-Rank rarity, she is available on all banners and benefits significantly from multiple copies.

Her defining trait is the follow-up attack system: during Authority, every Basic Attack triggers an additional follow-up strike that scales with CRIT DMG, effectively doubling her hit count and damage output.

Key Mechanics

Ichi-daime’s Authority

Authority is Nanally’s core damage state. All rotations should center around maximizing Authority uptime. The follow-up strikes effectively double her hit count, making CRIT DMG the most valuable stat.

Follow-Up Attack System

The follow-up system means Nanally generates significantly more reaction triggers and energy than her attack animations suggest. Each visible attack produces 2+ hits for Esper Cycle purposes.

Fireflies and the Forest (4-piece) is recommended because each follow-up hit can trigger and maintain stacks, giving Nanally near-permanent uptime on the set bonus.

Alternative: Shadow Creed for general CRIT builds.

Stat Priority

CRIT DMG is the primary damage multiplier because follow-up attacks scale directly from it. Aim for ~70% total CRIT Rate (including substats and passives), then stack CRIT DMG as high as possible.

Skill Priority

Skill > Ultimate > Basic Attack > Support Skill

Skill receives the highest priority because Authority is the foundation of all of Nanally’s damage. Higher Skill level = stronger Authority state.

Awakening Priority

A6 is the most impactful awakening because Authority duration is the limiting factor on Nanally’s damage. More duration means more follow-up attacks, which means more energy, more reactions, and more total damage.

Best Teams

Premium Blossom Team

Switching between Anima (Nanally) and Cosmos (Zero) triggers Blossom. Nanally’s high hit count from follow-ups generates massive reaction energy for the entire team.

Budget Sustain Team

Edgar’s Charge Enhancement accelerates Nanally’s Ultimate uptime. Hathor provides emergency healing and Remora triggers from Lakshana→Anima switches.

Dual DPS Team

Chiz covers field time during Nanally’s Authority cooldown. Both characters benefit from Charged reactions for energy generation.

Gameplay Tips

Nanally’s standard rotation opens with Colucci Howling Technique (Skill) to activate Authority immediately. During Authority, perform continuous Basic Attack strings — each attack triggers follow-up strikes that generate energy and reaction triggers. Use Ultimate (Summon: The Underboss) while Authority is active for maximum damage, as the enhanced state buffs Ultimate damage as well.

When Authority expires, switch to teammates for reaction setups and energy generation. The downtime between Authority activations is when teammates should use their Skills and Ultimates. Once Skill cooldown resets, switch back to Nanally and reactivate Authority.

For players with A3 (additional follow-up on Authority hits), the hit count becomes extremely high. This makes Nanally one of the best characters for triggering Blossom and Charged reactions due to the sheer number of elemental applications per second.
