Fadia Overview
Fadia is an S-Rank Psyche Synthesis character in Neverness to Everness, functioning as the game’s premier damage-absorbing tank with a unique offensive twist. Unlike traditional tanks who simply reduce incoming damage, Fadia actively converts damage taken into offense through her Destructive Experience mechanic — enemies share a percentage of the damage Fadia absorbs, turning her tanking into a consistent damage source.
Her kit enables two critical reactions: Stain (Psyche + Lakshana) for 20% damage amplification and Nova (Psyche + Chaos) for delayed Mental Damage burst. In the V1.1 meta, Fadia’s value has increased significantly with the addition of Lacrimosa (Chaos), who provides a reliable Nova partner and completes the Discord triple-cycle (Chaos + Psyche + Incantation) when paired with Baicang.
Unique Mechanics: Damage Redirection & Destructive Experience
Fadia’s combat identity revolves around two interconnected systems that reward her for taking damage:
Damage Redirection (Passive)
| State | Behavior |
|---|---|
| HP > 1 | Fadia redirects a portion of teammate damage to herself (before shield mitigation) |
| HP = 1 | Fadia shares incoming damage with surviving teammates |
This passive makes Fadia the team’s automatic damage sponge. As long as she remains above 1 HP, her teammates take significantly reduced damage without any active input required. The redirection occurs before shields are calculated, meaning Fadia’s own shields absorb the redirected damage.
Destructive Experience (Skill: Existence)
When Fadia casts her Skill, she inflicts Destructive Experience on the highest-HP enemy in range. During this debuff, whenever Fadia takes damage, the target shares a percentage of that damage (300% base, 600% with A2 Awakening). This creates a damage loop: enemies hit Fadia → Fadia redirects team damage to herself → Destructive Experience reflects amplified damage back to the enemy.
The debuff has a damage cap (15% of Fadia’s Max HP base, 25% with A2) and ends when the cap is reached, the duration expires, or combat ends. Managing this cap is central to optimizing Fadia’s damage output.
Lilith State (Ultimate: Agony to Euphoria)
Fadia’s Ultimate enters Lilith state, dealing 6 instances of Mental DMG and restoring HP. During Lilith state, Basic Attacks become follow-up attacks (up to 5 hits) dealing Mental DMG. The Ultimate fully restores its own energy when Fadia’s lost HP reaches the Destructive Threshold, and both damage and healing are enhanced when cast at or above this threshold.
Best Arcs for Fadia
Camellia Society — Silent Garden (Best in Slot)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Main Stat | HP% |
| Passive | Team-wide utility scaling with HP |
Camellia Society provides the HP scaling Fadia needs for both her tanking and Destructive Experience mechanics. Since her damage cap scales with Max HP, this Arc directly increases both her survivability ceiling and her offensive potential.
Eternal Waltz (Signature Alternative)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Main Stat | HP% |
| Passive | Enhanced damage redirection and Destructive Experience synergy |
Fadia’s signature Arc from the permanent Arc banner. Provides specialized bonuses tailored to her redirect-and-reflect playstyle. Available for free through story progression and Arc exchange.
A Time Will Come M5 (Budget Option)
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Main Stat | CRIT Rate 20% |
| Passive | +10% ATK, +10% DEF, +10% HP with 3+ Esper Types |
A versatile budget option that provides balanced stats. The HP bonus contributes to Fadia’s scaling, while the DEF helps her survive the damage she redirects. Most meta teams naturally have 3+ Esper Types, making the passive consistently active.
Console Setup
Tiny Big Adventure (Recommended)
- 2-piece (Epic): HP +10%
- 4-piece (Legendary): Max HP +4% per instance of damage taken, up to 10 stacks (10s each). Casting Ultimate instantly grants 10 stacks.
Tiny Big Adventure is purpose-built for Fadia. Since she constantly takes damage through her redirection passive, maintaining maximum stacks is effortless. The instant 10 stacks on Ultimate means Fadia gains 40% Max HP immediately when entering Lilith state, dramatically increasing both her survivability and Destructive Experience damage cap. At full stacks, this set provides up to 50% total HP increase (10% from 2-piece + 40% from 4-piece).
Devil’s Blood: Curse (Offensive Alternative)
- 2-piece (Epic): Psyche DMG +10%
- 4-piece (Legendary): DMG +18%, increased to 36% against targets affected by Nova or Stain
For teams that reliably trigger Nova (with Lacrimosa or Daffodill) or Stain (with Hathor or Skia), Devil’s Blood doubles Fadia’s personal damage output against debuffed targets. This set transforms Fadia from a pure tank into a hybrid DPS/tank, though at the cost of reduced HP scaling.
Module Stat Priority
| Slot | Main Stat | Substats |
|---|---|---|
| Type I | HP% | DEF% > ATK% > CRIT Rate |
| Type II | HP% | DEF% > ATK% > CRIT Rate |
| Type III | HP% | DEF% > CRIT Rate > ATK% |
Build Philosophy: Fadia’s primary value comes from staying alive and maximizing Destructive Experience damage cap. HP% is the universal priority because it scales her redirection survivability, Destructive Experience cap, Lilith healing, and Furnace of Guilt Nova enhancement simultaneously.
Awakening Priority
| Order | Awakening | Effect | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | A6 — Bringer of Love and Death | Destructive Experience on up to 10 targets | Transforms single-target reflect into AoE damage; massive value in wave content |
| 2nd | A2 — Instinct | Destructive Experience ratio to 600%, cap to 25% Max HP | Doubles reflect damage and raises the cap significantly |
| 3rd | A3 — Curser of Blessings | +30% base Max HP upon entering combat | Compounds with Tiny Big Adventure for enormous effective HP pool |
| 4th | A5 — Survivor of Death | +50% CRIT Rate in Lilith state | Transforms Ultimate follow-ups into reliable critical hits |
| 5th | A4 — Breaker of Taboos | Healing ratio 30% Max HP in Lilith, 60% at Threshold | Dramatically improves self-sustain during Ultimate |
| 6th | A1 — Apostate | Redirect ratio increased to 75% | More damage absorbed means more Destructive Experience procs, but also more HP management required |
The priority focuses on maximizing Destructive Experience value first (A6 for AoE, A2 for damage), then survivability (A3), then Ultimate damage (A5). A1 is last because increasing redirect ratio without sufficient HP can make Fadia harder to keep alive.
Team Compositions
Nova/Discord Team: Fadia + Lacrimosa + Baicang + Haniel
The V1.1 premier Fadia composition. Lacrimosa (Chaos) triggers Nova with Fadia (Psyche), activating Furnace of Guilt’s HP drain on detonation. Baicang (Incantation) completes the Discord triple-cycle and maintains Scorch pressure. Haniel provides healing critical for Fadia’s HP-drain playstyle and enables Stain (Psyche + Lakshana) if swapped with a Lakshana character situationally.
Stain DPS Team: Hathor + Fadia + Skia + Healer
Fadia enables Stain (Psyche + Lakshana) with Hathor, providing 20% damage amplification to both Hathor’s Lakshana damage and Fadia’s own Psyche damage. Skia adds Lakshana redundancy and Remora amplification. Fadia tanks all incoming damage while Hathor focuses entirely on burst rotations during Stain windows.
Daffodill Break: Daffodill + Baicang + Fadia + Adler
Fadia provides Nova enablement (Chaos + Psyche with Daffodill) and survivability for the Scorch/Break team. Her Psyche element creates reaction diversity that accelerates Break gauge depletion through Discord when all three bottom-trio elements are active.
Budget Nova Team: Fadia + Daffodill + Haniel + Mint
An accessible team using Daffodill (free Chaos character) for Nova triggers. Haniel provides healing and ATK buffing, while Mint covers field time with Anima DPS. Fadia tanks and reflects damage while Nova detonations drain enemy Max HP.
Rotation Guide
Standard Tank/Reflect Rotation
- Skill (Existence) → Apply Destructive Experience to highest-HP enemy
- Stay on-field → Take hits to trigger damage reflection (passive redirects team damage too)
- Basic Attack x3-4 → Deal Psyche damage while absorbing hits
- Monitor Destructive Experience cap → When cap is reached, reapply Skill
- Swap out when Skill is on cooldown → Let DPS characters capitalize on debuffs
Burst Window (Lilith State)
- Take damage until Destructive Threshold → HP drops to trigger enhanced Ultimate
- Ultimate (Agony to Euphoria) → Enter Lilith state with enhanced damage + healing
- Basic Attack x5 → Execute all follow-up attacks (Mental DMG, benefits from A5 CRIT)
- Skill → Reapply Destructive Experience with enhanced Max HP (from A3 + Tiny Big Adventure)
- Switch → Return to team rotation
Support Skill Usage
- Support Skill (Outsider) → Quick Psyche hit for Nova/Stain triggers
- Swap immediately → Minimal field time, reaction triggered
Tips for Maximum Effectiveness
- Fadia’s damage redirection is automatic and passive — she protects teammates just by being on the team, even when off-field
- Destructive Experience’s damage cap resets on each application; reapply Skill as soon as the cap is reached rather than waiting for duration to expire
- With A6, Destructive Experience hits up to 10 targets — position Fadia near enemy groups before casting Skill
- The Destructive Threshold for enhanced Ultimate is based on lost HP percentage; taking more damage before casting Ultimate increases both damage and healing
- Furnace of Guilt (Nova Enhancement) drains enemy Max HP permanently during combat — repeated Nova triggers in long fights compound this drain
- Tiny Big Adventure grants instant 10 stacks on Ultimate; always cast Ultimate before reapplying Skill for maximum HP-scaled cap
- In Beyond the Rails timed content, Fadia’s reflect damage counts toward the DPS check without requiring her to actively attack
- Pair with healers (Haniel, Jiuyuan) to manage the HP drain from increased redirection at A1
- Devil’s Blood: Curse set is only worth using if your team reliably maintains Nova or Stain on targets
