As Neverness to Everness continues to grow, the community has been vocal about the Quality of Life (QoL) improvements they want to see in upcoming patches. While the game’s core combat and exploration are highly praised, a few persistent issues have sparked significant discussion on forums like Reddit.
Here are the top two QoL features the community is currently requesting.
1. Flowing Conversations (Less Pointless Dialogue Choices)
A major point of frustration for many Appraisers is the implementation of dialogue choices during story quests.
Players have noted that the game frequently pauses the conversation to present dialogue options that are either identical in meaning or, worse, only offer a single choice. This interrupts the flow of the narrative and requires unnecessary clicking, which can detract from the immersion of the excellent voice acting and story.
“I really hate when games do this… why stop the flow of the conversation at this point? I tried ZZZ this weekend after enjoying NTE story and the conversation pauses just ruined the fun for me.” — Reddit User daywall
The community is urging Hotta Studio to allow conversations to flow naturally when the Main Character (MC) speaks, reserving dialogue prompts only for moments where the choice actually impacts the response or the outcome of the scene.
2. Adjustable First-Person Camera Height
The second major request revolves around the game’s first-person camera mode, specifically regarding the male MC.
Players have observed that the camera cannot be lowered as far down when playing as the male character compared to the female characters. This inconsistency limits the ability to view the character’s full outfit or body in first-person mode.
“Why can’t we lower the first person camera as far down with male characters as with female ones? Would be cool to be able to see characters body with male characters too.” — Reddit User YorhaUnit8S
Given the heavy emphasis on fashion and vehicle customization in NTE, having full control over the camera in all modes is crucial for players who want to take screenshots or simply admire their character’s design.
Will We See These Changes in Version 1.2?
With the Version 1.2 “999 Nights” Special Program scheduled for June 27, 2026, many players are hoping that Hotta Studio will address these feedback points. The developers have shown a willingness to listen to the community in the past, so there is optimism that these QoL features—or at least an acknowledgment of them—will be included in the upcoming patch notes.
