The official NTE Version 1.3 Preview Special Program — titled “Rising from the Moonlit Fog” — has been confirmed for August 8, 2026 at 19:30 (UTC+8). This is the pre-patch livestream that previews all major content coming in Version 1.3, and historically includes three redeem codes distributed during the broadcast.

What to Expect

Zankou — Version 1.3 Phase 1 Character

Zankou is the first playable villain in NTE and is expected to headline Version 1.3 Phase 1. Her banner is anticipated to begin around August 19, 2026, immediately following the end of Iroi’s current banner. The 1.3 Preview Livestream will reveal her complete kit, banner details, and recommended builds.

Based on pre-release information, Zankou is a tall S-Rank character with a katana. Community discussion has been exceptionally positive, with many players comparing the anticipation to major gacha releases. She is expected to be a DPS character.

Linko — Version 1.3 Phase 2 Character

Linko is the second character confirmed for Version 1.3. Less is known about Linko’s kit and release timing compared to Zankou, but the 1.3 Preview Livestream should reveal full details. Linko is expected to arrive in Version 1.3 Phase 2, approximately five weeks after Zankou.

Nitsa — Future Character Preview

Nitsa has been teased in pre-release materials as a future S-Rank Light-type support character. While not confirmed for Version 1.3, the community expects her to appear in Version 1.4 or later. The 1.3 Livestream may include a brief preview or silhouette reveal.

New Story Content

Version 1.3 is titled “Rising from the Moonlit Fog,” suggesting new main story chapters. The 1.2 story arc “The Wrong Gate” introduced Iroi and advanced the Scarlet Letter plotline. Version 1.3 is expected to continue this narrative thread, with Zankou — the first playable villain — likely playing a central role.

How to Get Livestream Redeem Codes

NTE Preview Livestreams historically distribute three redeem codes during the broadcast. These codes typically provide:

• 100 Annulith each (300 total across all three codes)
• Additional materials such as Hunter Guides, Dye items, and Beetle Coins

How to claim codes during the livestream:

The codes are displayed on screen during the broadcast and are only valid for a limited window (typically 24–72 hours after the livestream ends). To redeem:

3. Enter the code exactly as shown (case-sensitive)
