Overview

Shinku is an S-Rank Cosmos DPS character from the Containment Strike Unit Division 2 (C.S.U.2), released in Version 1.2 on July 8, 2026. She is a highly aggressive melee fighter who builds Defiant Spirit points to enter the devastating Surging Crimson state, culminating in her Ultimate Crimson Fury — a massive dragon breath finisher.

Key Mechanics

Fury and Frenzy System

Shinku’s core gameplay loop revolves around her dual-state mechanic.

  1. Building Defiant Spirit: In Normal State, Shinku’s Basic Attacks, Branch Attacks, and Skills generate Defiant Spirit points.
  2. Entering Surging Crimson: Once the gauge is full, casting her Ultimate consumes all points to trigger Surging Crimson form.
  3. Surging Crimson State: All abilities are replaced with enhanced versions dealing massive Cosmos DMG. Signature Arc Blushing Mirage grants +30% Cosmos DMG and 12% DEF ignore during this state.
  4. The Finisher — Crimson Fury: Before Surging Crimson expires, casting Ultimate again unleashes Crimson Fury, a massive AoE dragon breath attack that ends the burst window.

Passive Energy Generation

Her passive ability, “Charge Enhancement,” provides immense team utility. Whenever the on-field character gains energy, off-field characters gain the exact same amount. This makes Shinku an incredible engine for quick-swap teams that rely on frequent Ultimate usage.

Shinku and Iroi are designed to work perfectly together. Iroi provides the necessary sustain (scaling off Max HP) and offensive buffs to keep Shinku alive during her aggressive Frenzy state. Mint, sharing the Cosmos element and C.S.U.2 faction, is an excellent Sub-DPS to cover field time while Shinku builds energy.
